Moring IT Consulting is owned and operated by George (Billy) Moring. Billy has worked in Information Technology for more than 20 years.
Moring IT Consulting began in 1984 in Gainesville Florida as Moring Computer Systems. At that time we provided low cost PC clones in favor of the high cost IBM PC's of the day. During the early 1990's we also began providing data services via Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) and a satellite downlink.
In 1998 Moring Computer Systems was relocated from Florida to the Atlanta area.
Since 1999, Billy has held positions such as Manager of Information Systems, Director of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for a publicly traded company. During this time he has continued to do consulting for select clients on a part time basis.
In May 2008, Moring Computer Systems was renamed Moring IT Consulting to more accurately reflect what we do. We are now seeking and accepting new consulting clients. We are located in the North Georgia Mountains and serve Pickens, Dawson and surrounding counties.
